Joseph Mendoza
Joe Mendoza grew up in the friendly city of Mercedes which is known as the Queen City of the Rio Grande Valley located in South Texas. He currently makes his home in Poway California with his beautiful wife Joanne and three wonderful children Jasmine, Justin, and Jenaliza. Before following his dreams of becoming an author and owning his own business, Joe proudly served seven years in the United States Navy as an aviation mechanic, worked at a comic book production company Homage Studios which would later become Wildstorm Productions and then he followed his passion of working with children in schools and became a school counselor/assistant principal. Since then he has gone on to create a non-profit organization, Guidance 4U, with his colleague Omar Reza, for guidance and life skills services in the schools. Along with this non-profit, Joe has co-written several youth empowerment books that were specifically written for children to educate and help them through difficult times in their lives while addressing many school issues. It was shortly after he joined the Navy that he began his self improvement, self development and self awareness journey. He read and re-read a book called "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" by Dr. Joseph Murphy. This book caught his eye because of the words power and mind in the title of the book. He also promised to answer the questions that he had sought after for many years. They were questions such as; why is one person happy and the other miserable, why is one person joyous and prosperous and another person angry all the time and always struggling to make ends meet. He wanted to know the answers badly because he had always had the feeling that there had to be more to life than just existing. The book talked about how someone's habitual thinking and imagery molded, fashioned, and created one's destiny. As a student and practitioner of these life strategies for over 25 years, he is thoroughly convinced that the power of the mind has created miracles in his life and the lives of many others. He wants to share these powerful miracle working strategies with you that have allowed him to experience a success beyond just wanting to be rich, famous or powerful. It is the experience of knowing that each and everyone can create the kind of life that they want to and gain the inner peace and happiness they desire which drives him to share these strategies with the world so that you too can "Put a little MaxPower into your life!" *Master of Arts in Education: School Counseling *P.P.S. credential *Bachelor of Arts in Psychology *NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) certified *2nd degree Black Belt Bi-lingual: Fluent in Spanish |
